A survey entitled “Understanding Our Cyber Youth Population” has been designed and conducted. The survey contains more than 100 questions related to such areas as participants' usage pattern of online platforms and social media, online and offline social activities, deviant behaviors, help-seeking behaviors and service utilization, and emotional and behavioral health.
The survey was conducted by the Social Sciences Research Centre at HKU and 1013 valid responses were collected. Interesting findings have been revealed in the data and research papers are currently being developed to report these findings.
